CONDITIONS OF SALE

The Management reserves the right to refuse admission and to alter the programme without prior notice. Latecomers may either be asked to wait until a suitable break in the performance, or be refused admission. Any recording of the performance (either audio or visual) is prohibited. The Management reserves the right to refuse entry of, and use of, such equipment on the premises.

We believe that everyone belongs at the Young Vic Theatre and should be treated with equal respect. The Management reserve the right to refuse admission or eject from the venue any person who is treating our staff, other visitors, or the venue in a way we feel is unacceptable. This includes using discriminatory language, hate speech, or aggression.

Tickets are sold subject to these conditions. All tickets can only be exchanged or refunded by the Young Vic. Please note, any tickets resold on other platforms or through a third party will be void.

FEES

All transactions are subject to a £2 Green Building Levy which will allow us to make improvements to our building, our capital assets and the way we make work, all of which support our ambition to become as sustainable as possible.

If you ask for your tickets to be sent via post in advance, there will be a charge of £1 to cover postage and administration.

COLLECTING TICKETS AT THE BOX OFFICE

As part of prioritising the safety of our staff and audiences, we are not offering ticket collection at the Box Office. All tickets will be issued as an e-ticket which can be presented on your phone or printed out, or alternatively, your tickets can be posted to you for a £1 fee.

If you have booked a ’25 and Under’ or ’60 and Over’ ticket, please bring proof of ID or eligibility.

TICKETS TO BE POSTED

If you have chosen to have your tickets posted to you, they will be posted out first class and should arrive within a week of the performance. If they don't arrive, please contact the Box Office. Please note we don't post out tickets for performances more than one week away from your visit.

PAYMENT

We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Young Vic credit vouchers and SOLT Theatre vouchers. All cheques should be made payable to Young Vic Company.

EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS

If you or someone in your party is Covid positive, has symptoms, or has been instructed to isolate by the NHS, the ticket may be exchanged for another performance of the same production (subject to availability) or a credit voucher (valid for 6 months) if you call or email the Box Office up to 24 hours before the performance. If you are booked into a socially distanced performance you will need to exchange all tickets that are in your seating bubble. Exchanges will incur a £1 fee per ticket.

If you need to exchange your ticket for any other reason, you can do so by calling our emailing the Box Office up to 48 hours before the performance. Please note, this policy may vary for Young Vic shows running at other venues, including those in the West End. Exchanges will incur a £1 fee per ticket.

If we have to cancel a performance for any reason, we will give you the option for a full refund, an exchange for another performance or offer you a Young Vic credit voucher valid for 12 months.
